Board Member Applications due by October 12

Three board seats are up for election at the November 17th annual meeting for Wheat Ridge 2020. The Nominations Committee is accepting Board Member Applications from those interested in serving on the Wheat Ridge 2020 Board of Directors.  Terms are two years in length. If you have questions about what is involved in board membership, please call the office at 720-570-3481 or talk to a current board member.
The current strategic plan for Wheat Ridge 2020 involves the following key areas:

  • Encourage Business Development
  • Concentrated Community Investment
  • Policy & Regulatory Change
  • Organizational Development

Please download a board member application and distribute to anyone who may be interested. Applications are due to the Wheat Ridge 2020 office by October 12.

Final Public Hearing on the City Comprehensive Plan on October 12

Join Wheat Ridge 2020 and other advocates in supporting the City Comprehensive Plan on Monday, October 12, at the City Council meeting starting at 7pm at City Hall.

Wheat Ridge 2020 invites you and your neighbors to join us for presentation on ballot issues 2A & 2B.

Understanding 2A & 2B and how they benefit your health and community

All are welcome to come and learn about what is involved in Wheat Ridge ballot measures 2A & 2B. The presentation will feature information from the State Health Department and Kaiser Permanente on how these issues may impact your health as well as the health of our community.

WR2020 seeking to fill team positions—Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator

Wheat Ridge 2020 is hiring two part-time positions to join our team.

Office Coordinator — part-time employee – 16 —20 hours per week providing basic office assistance, filing, and team support.  Key qualifications include familiarity with Office 2007, electronic filing systems, strong writing and communications skills and friendly customer service experience.  Hourly range $12-$16 based on qualifications and experience.

Bookkeeper —contractor or part-time employee —approximately 20 hours per week providing data-entry, payroll, and accounting for over $2M annual budget with 100 transactions monthly. Must have non-profit experience, Quickbooks proficiency, experience with accounting for real estate, and attention to detail. Hourly range $15-$18 based on qualifications and experience.
