Wheat Ridge 2020 relies on committees to give input to initiatives and programs and to help evaluate success. In order to join a committee you need to be a member of WR2020. Then talk to the committee chair about their committee to see if you might be a good fit and if there are any current openings. The chair information and committee meeting times are below.

Finance

Chair: Joe Giordano
Meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the month
3:30-4:30pm at WR2020 Office

This committee is charged with securing financial resources, giving input to the budget, and advising on financial programs.

Encourage Development

Chair: Kelly Brooks
Meetings every 2nd Wednesday
11:30am- 1pm at WR2020 Office

This committee will work on the Encourage Development priority of the 2011-2013 Strategic Plan.  This committee will have special emphasis on West 38th Avenue and and the implementation of the W 38th Avenue Corridor Plan.

Community Building Events

Chair: Genevieve Wooden
Meetings every 2nd Monday
5:30-7:00pm at various Wheat Ridge restaurants

This committee works on the Community Building priority of the 2011-2013 Strategic Plan.  This committee plans and supports WR2020 events such as Wines & Dines, Realtor Tour, LiveLocal, and Mid Century Modern Home Tour.
