Curt Gilmore is the Carnation Festival Count

Congratulations to Mr. Curt Gilmore. He was chosen as the 41st Carnation Festival "Count". Curt is a Wheat Ridge resident who is actively involved in the community. He is the President of the Wheat Ridge Foundation, a member of the finance committee
for the Jefferson Foundation and actively participates in the strategic planning
committee for the school district. Curt was a former Treasurer and Board Member
of Wheat Ridge 2020.

His most rewarding community involvement is with the Wheat Ridge/Arvada service
ambassadors for local youth. The organization awards kids who are trying
to overcome adversity in their lives. The program gives youth 14-18 recognition,
awards and scholarships to support leadership development. Curt enjoys
being a part of this program and states "leaders in the community are
just an arm's length away" for all young people in Wheat Ridge.

Wheat Ridge 2020 would like to thank Curt for his continued support of our
community and for his involvement with our organization.
