The Wheat Ridge Business District (WRBD) was formed in a joint partnership between local business owners and the City of Wheat Ridge to help revitalize 38th Avenue – the City's traditional "Main Street." The effort has been expanded to serve businesses throughout the City of Wheat Ridge.
The Wheat Ridge Business District administers several grant programs for Wheat Ridge businesses. The Revitalization Incentive Program (RIP) provides matching grant assistance for facade and sign improvements, and architectural design assistance. Revitalization Incentive Program Grant applications are due by the last Thursday of the month.

Accessibility Grant Program – In May, 2012, the WRBD Board of Directors began a new grant program to help business and property owners with accessibility issues when making renovations to properties. The Board authorized up to $5,000 in a matching grant for property improvements directly related to accessibility issues.

The Commercial Exterior Paint Grant provides matching grants of up to $500 for painting supplies to Wheat Ridge businesses who paint the exterior of their building. The goal of the program is to encourage commercial property owners to keep well-maintained and vibrant properties in Wheat Ridge.

The Current Board of Directors: |
The WRBD meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Wheat Ridge 2020 offices.
The permanent Board of Directors consists of eleven (11) directors selected as follows: Three (3) directors shall be appointed by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge and may be appointed and removed from time to time by the Wheat Ridge City Council. Eight (8) directors shall be nominated and elected from the membership of Enterprise Wheat Ridge. Elected Directors shall be elected for a term of three (3) years, and shall hold office until the annual meeting occurring at the expiration of their terms, and until their successors have been elected and qualified. An elected director may be reelected for one or more terms.
The officers of the Corporation shall be a president, vice-president, a secretary, and a treasurer, who shall all be members of the Board of Directors.
