Home Investment Program Development Site at 4300 Gray St
Wheat Ridge 2020 purchased a home off of Randall Park in northeast Wheat Ridge. This home was the first home featured in our Home Investment Program. The Home Investment Program is designed to fulfill this charge of the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy: “a demonstration of how dated but quality housing can be upgraded and remarketed to the target customers.” Wheat Ridge 2020 has partnered with Value-builders on this first home. Value-builders is the general contractor for the renovations. Wheat Ridge 2020 will showcase this house to show how similar quality housing stock in Wheat Ridge can be easily renovated for modern features.
Wheat Ridge 2020 selected this house as it typifies many of the ranch-style homes available in eastern Wheat Ridge. It is a solid 1948 ranch, complete with arches and coved ceilings. The kitchen is small, but the living spaces are generous. With just a bit of updating and some expansion of the kitchen, this home has gone from dated to dazzling.
