In celebration of Children's Day 2011, the Wheat Ridge Police Department is partnering with Wheat Ridge 2020, Colorado Department of Transportation, Wheat Ridge Cyclery, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, and 1st Bank to host a Child Safety Fair Car Seat Checkkup free event on Saturday, April 30th.  

Date: April 30, 2011, Saturday
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Wheat Ridge Middle School, 7101 West 38th Avenue

Progressive Ribbon-Cuttings Set for April 29^th

The City of Wheat Ridge is pleased to announce the Grand Opening and Progressive Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies for five businesses on West 38^th Avenue in Wheat Ridge on April 29^th.  The celebration will kick-off at 1:30 p.m.  and will follow the schedule below:

1:30 p.m. – Master Goldsmith and Designer at 5870 W. 38^th Avenue & Sons of Italy New Generation Hall located at 5800 W. 38^th Avenue

2:30 p.m. – Reyna’s Styles and Salon at 5455 W. 38^th Avenue

3:15 p.m. – Posey Girl Floral Design at 7210 West 38^th Avenue

3:34 p.m. – Mucillis’s Shoes at 7172 38^th Avenue

4:30 p.m. – Dragonfly Coffee and Café at 7300 W. 38^th Avenue

Members of the Wheat Ridge business community and the general public are invited to join the Mayor and members of the Wheat Ridge City Council for the progressive ribbon-cuttings on April 29^th from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.  The City will not provide transportation to each ribbon-cutting and citizens are encouraged to carpool or ride their bikes to each event.
